Payment/Subscription FAQ

  1. Which payment options are available?

    Payments are currently handled via PayPal and Stripe (Credit Card, ApplePay, GooglePay). 

  2. How are renewals and cancellations handled?

    Our paid services are set up as subscriptions. They will continue to run until they are cancelled. To cancel a service:

    • click on Memberships → Manage Purchases
    • There will be a list of active subscriptions. Click on the title of the subscription you want to cancel.
    • On the details page, click on “Cancel Renewals”. 

    Important: You always need to cancel subscriptions on our end. Never try to reverse an order on the side of the payment provider. 

    • You can cancel a subscription at any time. The services of the subscription will continue to be available until the end of the term, even for a cancelled subscription. 
    • You will receive a reminder email before a subscription is about to renew, so you can decide if you want to keep it going or cancel. 
    • Some payment options (like credit card) allow automatic charging. It’s up to you to use this option for more convenient payments or to not use to pay manually for each renewal invoice. 
  3. What about tax?

    Prices on our website are shown without tax. Value added tax will be added if necessary during checkout for …

    • consumers inside the European Union
    • businesses inside Germany
    • businesses inside the EU without a valid EU VAT ID
