The German National Library (DNB; German: Deutsche Nationalbibliothek) is the central archival library and national bibliographic centre for the Federal Republic of Germany.

Part of the library is the German Museum of Books and Writing (Deutsches Buch- und Schriftmuseum), now hosted at the building in Leipzig. Its collection includes hundreds of type specimens.
