A series of type specimen booklets in A4 format by the D. Stempel AG produced during the 1950s. The booklets all have a large S created from meander symbols on the cover.

The numbered series starts with 100. Berthold exclusive typefaces were also published in a similar series starting with the number 001.

Kurrent is an old form of German-language handwriting based on late medieval cursivewriting, also known as Kurrentschrift (“cursive script”), deutsche Schreibschrift (“German script”), and German cursive. It remained in used until the first half of the 20th century in Germany and so type foundries offered various typefaces in this style, both for formal script use and advertising purposes.
